Parking: Park near trailhead located on Nuuanu Pali Drive. Park on the side of the road. 

What to expect: Also known as the Kaniakapupu Ruins, the Summer Palace is located in Nu'uanu valley. The Short and easy walk on dirt trail leads to the ancient Hawaiian ruins of Kamehameha III Summer Palace. The trailhead starts just below the parking area for Lulumahu Falls on the Old Pali Hwy. 

The Trailhead resembles an opening on the right side of the road, the opening looks like a small tunnel into a dense bamboo forrest. Continue on the path and it will lead you the ruins. 

BE RESPECTFUL. DO NOT TOUCH THE RUINS. DONT LEAVE TRASH OR RUBBISH!
