Parking: Parking at Hawaii Nature Center (Access to the center closes at 6:00pm) 

What to expect: The Makiki Valley Loop is an easy, shaded hike around the Makiki valley. The hike begins at the Hawaii Nature Center and you can choose to follow the trail east, or west. The hike takes you along kanealole stream and offers beautiful views of diamond head and Honolulu. This area is a restoration preserve please be respectful and malama ka aina. 

Tips: Wear trail shoes, this hike can be muddy and/or slippery when raining.
